I just found out about this rule! I’ve always heard if you haven’t wore the item of clothing or accessory in 6 months - it’s out. But apparently some people use the RULE OF 3 which says: If you can’t visually imagine how you’d wear it - in three ways - it needs to go.
So not sure how that would work with a simple dress, for example. With a wrap? With heels? With tennis shoes and a jean jacket? Maybe that’s the idea.
AND they say if the piece of clothing doesn’t fit - IT’S OUT! 😮 No questions. No decisions. Hmmmm.. my clothes fit comfortably, and then they don’t, and then they do again. So I think we have to use our judgment on this.
