For every picture-perfect proposal you see online, there’s another one that goes completely off the rails, and honestly, those might be even better!
A now-viral video shows a couple’s cruise ship engagement getting hilariously derailed when the celebration kicked off before the actual proposal. Staff came out singing and congratulating them while the bride-to-be was basically like, “Wait… I’m not engaged??” Awkward? Yes. Memorable? Also yes.
To his credit, Gary recovered like a pro and shook it off, grabbed the ring and delivered the proposal anyway (smooth pivot, sir). She said yes, the internet got a good laugh, and now it’s proof that even when things don’t go according to plan, the story might end up even better.
Honestly, perfection is overrated… give us the bloopers every time.
