After a 25-year career, Tina Turner had her first SOLO #1 single in the US with her song, What’s Love Got To Do With It.
The song was originally written for Cliff Richard, BUT the song was rejected!
It was also offered to Donna Summer. She has stated that she sat with it for a couple of years, but never recorded it.
But guess who did? What a HUGE song for Tina Turner! And I can’t imagine anyone else singing it now - can you?
