Kelly Clarkson
On this day in music history, A Moment Like This went from #52 to #1 on the US Hot 100! It broke the record for the biggest leap to the top spot.
The previous record was held by The Beatles. Their song, Can’t Buy Me Love went from #27 to #1.
But Kelly Clarkson’s record was beat by Maroon 5 in 2007. It Makes Me Wonder went from #64 to #1. Did they ever talk about this on The Voice!? 🤣
