On this day in music history, Britney went to #1 on the UK singles chart with ‘Oops!... I Did It Again’.
The song was written and produced by Max Martin and Rami Yacoub. They also collaborated with Spears on her song ‘...Baby One More Time’.
The album Oops!... I Did It Again debuted at #1 on the US Billboard 200 in May 2000 - it sold over 1.3 million copies in its first week!
But the single, “Oops!... I Did It Again” only went to #9 on the US Billboard Hot 100.
