Leftover Halloween Candy?

Donate that leftover candy

On the off chance you haven’t completely decimated the kids Halloween stash and actually have leftover candy, here’s a good way to give it to those who will really appreciate it. The city of Clearwater is accepting donations of the candy to send to U.S. troops through Sunday, November 7th.

There are plenty of donation sites accepting all those Reese’s PB Cups, Tootsie Rolls and the inevitable - candy corn for “Our Troops Online”. For each pound you donate, you’ll have get an entry for a nice prize - what is is, is a surprise. For now. But you know how much each piece will do appreciated.

And to our traffic goddess Monica - thanks for the treats. See, with our office still closed I was worried. Hershey’s ruled!
