It’s only 5 mph lower, but FDOT is giving us more than enough time to get used to it. For a limited time the speed limit on the Howard Frankland will drop from 60 to 55 mph.
This is in the construction zones around on 275 from 38th Street North to 4th Street North as well as that second zone on the Howard Frankland Bridge between Pinellas and Hillsborough County. The limit in these areas will be 55 mph starting next week.
No joke - watch for law enforcement to remind you.
