A Stop At The Patch

I'm spoiled to have not one, but two locations for Nature's Food Patch just a short drive from my house. My first trip ever to "the Patch" was at their first location near downtown Clearwater that opened in 1987, and with the addition of the second location in 2018 in Dunedin life is pretty good. No matter whether you're keeping the Memorial Day celebration at home with a backyard cookout or at the beach, why not try a new new items on the grill. There were stories about a meat shortage thanks to COVID-19 but after speaking to Dianna Douds at their Dunedin location, they say they are in great shape with their favorite suppliers. I was also interested in meat alternatives since I discovered Beyond Meat patties and we also had a chance to talk about that.

One of the best things about Nature's Food Patch are the people you'll find inside. They have a strong commitment to our community with donations to hometown food banks like Dunedin Cares, the Homeless Empowerment Program and Food Rescue US Dunedin. They've also not forgotten those working the frontlines with delicious treats for the Clearwater Police Department as well as Clearwater Fire Rescue.

The Patch has also added pickup options and delivery (just don't forget my Chocolate Dream Pie). That's as easy as going to their site and adding your order. They're always happy to see us and please remember those social distancing guidelines when you drop in. Thanks to Marketing Director Cheryl Rosselle for her help and to Dianna Douds with Demos To Di For, for her time and great demos! Take a moment to hear our interview, and we'll keep that Quarantine 15 off with healthy help from Nature's Food Patch.
